LET’S HEAR YOUR STORY

From May through October, we host a monthly Fireside Story Night with Kelly (one of our baristas and a good friend of TENET) filled with laughing, crying and everything in between

Come prepared to share a true story from your life. All attendees will have the option to drop their name in a hat for the opportunity to tell their story (you’re also welcome to just come and listen, laugh and/or cry).

Admission is free (but seating is limited, so come early!). Grab dinner before. TENET will be open for drinks and treats throughout the event.

Here's what you need to know:

The story must be true.
The story must be told from memory.
The story must be from your own life.
The story must directly relate to the theme.
The story must be five minutes or less.

Tips for the telling of your story:

1. Don't overthink this thing. It's supposed to be fun! You are just telling a story to some friends. No big deal.

2. Tell us a story; don’t give us an anecdote. Anecdotes are the telling of something that happened. Stories are the telling of something that changed you or the way you see life.

3. Give us action. Give us conflict. Give us highs and give us lows. Make us feel something.
